This is where guests can board an old steam train for a scenic tour of the park. This also helps guests get from place to place, making transportation easier. Along the way, guests will see interesting sights of the park from their compartments.
The trains are designed in old fashioned style. The locomotives head the trains, moving them along the track. There are three cars for every train, each with four compartments. Here, they get a unique view of the park from there.
Marker City Station
Inside a 1920's train station is where guests board the train in Marker City. Here, they enter a Union Station-inspired building, walking past boards showing departure times to other places in America. When they enter the platform area, they board the trains.
Their journey to the next station is an interesting one. After exiting the station, they begin to move into the Mysterious Jungle. Guests can see some of its attractions from here, including the safari and Adventure Andes, the aqua-coaster. They actually go through the mountains, where they see several interesting sculptures carved into the wall. From there, they enter the western town of Golden Gulch.
Golden Gulch Station
In the Western corner of Golden Gulch, right near the rapids, guests can board the train. This station is themed after an Old West train station. Here, they see some old mining equipment as well as posters of fictitious outlaws, some of which tie into the backstory of the land.
After boarding the train, guests go through a tunnel with Native American cave paintings. Soon enough, they will exit the tunnel and see the river, where the island housing Golden Mountain Mine Train is. Along the way, guests will see some sights from the Golden River Explorer Canoes attraction. Then, they will go through a cave, where they will see scenes of an enchanted forest. Here, they will see a sleeping troll, centaurs, a unicorn, and other magical creatures. Before long, they will enter into the steampunk city of Visionary Bay.
Visionary Bay Station
This train station is done in late Victorian style and features a steampunk design, fashioned after the designs of authors like Jules Verne and H. G. Wells. Here, guests walk past advertisements of retrofuturistic machinery before boarding their train.
After getting on the train, it will move past the lagoon in the area, the one that the Underwater Expedition is houses in. From there, they will enter a tunnel where it's supposed to feel like they're moving through space. Here, they see all of the planets before entering the station in Marker City.
3 - The Man of Many Ideas
