Oceanland: Attractions

10 - Flipper's Flying Dolphins
This is a classic spinner ride where guests ride dolphins, but be warned. Guests might get wet if they go past some spitting fish.

11 - The Beluga
(Height: 36 in.)
This family coaster goes out into the bay and offers great views of the whole land. While it's not the most thrilling coaster in the park, it is a good starter coaster for young children, and it is designed to look like the old wooden roller coasters of yesteryear.

12 - Stingray Shuffle
This is a musik Express ride where guests ride stingrays as they move along the seafloor.

13 - Sea Turtle Spin
Guests ride in balloon-like contraptions underneath sea turtles, flying over the water and around the bay.

14 - Oceanland Boardwalk Bonanza!
On this omnimover dark ride, guests travel through various scenes, stepping right up to the challenge as they blast their way through many games.

QUEUE:
In the back of Oceanland is a large, wooden building designed to look like the former Saltaire building in Utah. Atop is a giant gray stingray, as well as the name of the attraction. Guests proceed underneath the stingray and through several Victorian-style rooms, where the games played in the ride will be advertised.

Once guests get on their ride vehicles, which are designed to look like clam shells, they will sit down and wait for the lap bars to come up. There, they will find their shooters, which they will use to shoot during the ride. A screen is also between the two shooters, keeping their scores and revealing a virtual prize at the end.

RIDE EXPERIENCE:
As the guests go through seven rooms, they will see different things. Alongside this, they will play six games as they go. However, guests first go through a practice room, where they practice hitting targets in a Victorian room. After that, they will go on to play the six games.

1st Game: Tusks and Smore's Arctic Shooting: Guests go through an arctic room where they shoot targets designed to look like Arctic and Antarctic animals with balls. As they shoot, Tusks the Walrus and Smore the Penguin will cheer them on.

2nd Game: Flipper's Beach Party Balloon Pop: Guests travel through a Caribbean-inspired beach scene, where they shoot balloons with darts. In addition, Flipper the Dolphin and Furtail the Sea Lion will cheer them on.

3rd Game: Shark and Tsunami's Submarine Sinkers: Guests travel through a sunken shipyard of WWII ships, where guests shoot mines, submarines, and shipwrecks as Shark the Great White and Tsunami the Hammerhead Shark cheer them on.

4th Game: Belu and Fluffy's Ring Toss: Guests travel through a nighttime Arctic scene with an Aurora, where they throw rings at Viking ships, trees, polar bears, and more, as Fluffy the Belu the belugas and Blizzard and Flurry the Seals cheer them on.

5th Game: Mr. Bubbles' Sea Plate Smashers: In an underwater setting, guests shoot balls to break plates as they journey through an ocean scene. This gives a nod to cleaning up ocean waste, and even as Mr. Bubbles' the Seahorse, Lou and Lil' Joe the manatees cheer them on, they also thank guests for cleaning up the ocean and protecting wildlife.

6th Game: Ray's Stingray Extravaganza: As guests go through an Atlantis-esque scene, they shoot boxes, items, and more, throwing a huge celebration with Ray, Jewel, Baby Ray, and Crystal the Stingrays.

Once all six games are complete, guests will look down at their screens. Depending on how much points the guests score, they will win a virtual prize (virtual, because they can't take these prizes home with them):

0-99: Sea Horse
100-999: Seal
1,000-9,999: Sea Lion
10,000-99,999: Stingray
100,000-999,999: Dolphin
1,000,000-9,999,999: Shark
10,000,000-higher: Whale

POST-RIDE:
Guests get off their vehicles and exit into a gift shop, the Oceanland Emporium.

15 - Manatee Encounter
This interactive show, similar to Turtle Talk with Crush, is where guests can interact with Lou the Manatee. Here, kids can ask questions to him and learn about his undersea world, as well as answer some of his questions about the human world. This attraction is found in a large ship in the Cape Cod section of the land.
