Soon, guests board a trackless ride vehicle resembling a carriage and sit down. These vehicles sit up twelve people with three rows of four.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The vehicles move out of the building and into the streets of London. As they pass through the darkness, they come across Sherlock and his assistant, Professor Watson. They say that the guests shouldn't be out, noting how dangerous the city is at night. Regardless of this, the vehicles continue on, going down a street where people in a pub are singing, a police officer is on duty, and a fountain goes down in the middle.
Then, they go into a warehouse, where some gangsters are heard laughing over plans. It is revealed that they stole the crown jewels for a certain criminal. The vehicles come through, but the gangsters notice them and start firing at them. They enter the London streets, where they take part in a carriage chase that ends with the vehicles hiding in an alley. Here, they encounter Sherlock and Watson another time, who at first, are upset, but after seeing the gangsters with the crown jewels, they thank the guests for helping them out.
Sherlock orders the vehicles to get to safety, but this backfires almost instantly. here, they are caught by the police, who wrongly mistake the guests as the crown thieves. To hide from them, the vehicles take shelter in big Ben. There, they see gears turning and Professor Moriarty, Sherlock's nemesis, with the crown jewels. He laughs at them and plans to get them crushed by the gears, but Watson saves them. In the meantime, Sherlock and Moriarty fight over the crown jewels. While this is happening, the gangsters chase the vehicles a second time. Screen effects make it look like they are going faster than they really are. In then end, the vehicles make it to safety while the gangsters and Moriarty are arrested. The guests pass Sherlock and Watson one more time, who thank them for helping them before they go to the unload station.

(40 in.)
Guests travel through a museum, which comes to life and clashes with their ride vehicle as they make their way through. This is an indoor coaster similar in style to Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.
QUEUE:
Guests see a large museum in the back of the land, resembling the British Museum. Here, they go past the fence and enter the main area. As they go through the interior of the museum, past the main desk and through the hallways, they see advertisements for a new exhibit called the Moon Stone, an Ancient artifacts associated with Khonshu, the Egyptian Moon God. According to legend, it brings whatever it touches to life.
Soon, guests enter the loading station to board their vehicles. These are metal vehicles that fit up to twelve people in three rows of four. Once onboard, guests pull down their lap bars and store their belongings in a pouch. They also put on a pair of 3-D glasses, which was given to them before coming in.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The ride begins by going into a storage room, where a night guard is asleep. When the carts enter, he screams and falls down, knocking over a crate in the process. He apologizes for this and admits that he forgot that guests were coming through tonight. Then as the vehicles turn the corner, they see that the Moon Stone has tumbled out of the box. Even worse, it's shining in the moonlight, which means danger for the guests. Blue light moves around the room, making items like Knight armor, a portrait of an 18th-Century woman, and a Greek bust come to life.
From there, the vehicles enter a room filled with Egyptian relics. Here, a sarcophagus opens and a mummy comes out, holding the cart in place. A giant Anubis statue approaches, pointing its spear at them. It knocks them down to the floor below, causing the coaster drop to begin. They go down and turn, entering a room filled with Greek and Roman artifacts. Here, a statue of Achilles runs towards them, but is knocked down when a cyclops stabs him in the heel. The cyclops then moves forwards and picks up the cart, putting it back on the top level. However, a body pterodactyl makes the cart move forward into the next room, which is filled with skeletal dinosaurs. The cart is hit by the tail of a T-Rex skeleton, which knocks them into the next room.
As the carts go into a room filled with African artifacts, the night guard appears again, holding the Moon Stone. He says how he wants to stop it, but he doesn't know how. Then, some rhinos charge into the room. To escape, the cart flees and goes down the hall, running with the rhinos. When statues of multi-armed Hindu deities separate the stampede, the carts go around them and into a room filled with Asian artifacts. Here, a Japanese Samurai knocks them aside, sending them in front of a giant dragon. Luckily, the night guard distracts it while the vehicles escape.
Just when the guests think that everything is okay, they enter a room where a Huge battle rages. Here, some knights are dueling with other knights, and cannons are firing. The vehicles are knocked away by a cannon fire and sent into a room where beings from all the rooms are fighting. The giant T-Rex comes back and roars at the guests, but before it can eat them, the night guard steps forward and holds the Moon Stone back in the moonlight. This turns all of the artifacts idle again, but also makes them fall in place. As the vehicles exit the room, they see the night guard one more time, who thanks them for coming and hope they return, even though he worries that he will be sacked the next morning.
POST-RIDE:
After getting out of the vehicles and throwing away their 3-D glasses, guests will proceed into the museum's gift shop, where merchandise is sold as well as photos taken during the ride. This gift shop is called the Museum Archives.
9 - Fortress of Fear
(Height: 40 in.)
Guests ride a lift up and down a cursed fortress, encountering beings from mythology as they do.
BACKSTORY:
A long time ago, there was a man named Ryan O'Muck, a self-proclaimed sorcerer who came from Ireland. In the 1860s, he came to London to educate more people on this craft. He built a towering, Gothic building called 'Fortress O'Muck,' where he would teach people how to master sorcery.
However, O'Muck gained his magical powers through dangerous means. He had captured several fairies and held them captive, extracting their magic and bringing it into himself. This angered the creatures, making them plan to give him a comeuppance.
This happened in 1870, when O'Muck opened the school to the public. That night, he was riding the elevator to the top when the fairies escaped. As an extra punishment, they summoned several creatures who damaged the school and started a fire. Although the fire was put out, O'Muck disappeared that night. Afterwards, the building was abandoned, and Londoners would come to call it the 'Fortress of Fear.'
Now, thirteen years later, Parliament has decided to revive the school, and so they are currently renovating it. However, as guests go inside the building, they might find out why the building would be better off left alone.
QUEUE:
Branching away from London is a forest area. Here, guests take a path away from the city and into a garden, filled with several statues, most of which are of O'Muck. Looking ahead, guests see a towering Gothic-style building with several walls missing, destroyed during the fire. Guests then proceed into the foyer of the building, where guests see portraits of O'Muck all around, doing heroic things. However, several of them have burn marks, possibly hinting that these deeds are more fiction than fact. They also look ahead to see a desk set up by the government, who have put up scaffolding as part of the renovations.
PRE-SHOW:
Soon, guests will enter one of two identical pre-show rooms, which are small offices containing mirrors. A cast member informs them that they are here to take part in the renovations and will board the elevators in just a minute. Once they leave, however, a mirror hanging on the wall suddenly appears, showing O'Muck in it.
O'Muck: "What are you doing here? This building is cursed.....and it's my fault. I am not a sorcerer. I just stole magic from fairies, and I opened this school for my own gain. I was never going to teach anyone real sorcery, but make it look like that for more money."
The mirror then shows a picture of Fortress O'Muck in 1870, when it was supposed to open.
O'Muck: "I should've seen it coming. The fairies had put up with me stealing their magic, but they wouldn't stand for it any longer. On opening day of Fortress O'Muck, they had a plan. I was in the elevator, riding to the top to check on them, when they escaped."
Suddenly, fairies are seen flying out of the top floor.
O'Muck: "If this wasn't bad enough, they left me with a parting gift. Banshees, leprechauns, and other creatures came in here. They tried to kill me.......maybe they did kill me. I'm not so sure."
The building is then seen catching on fire. Shortly after, O'Muck appears in the mirror again to finish his warning.
O'Muck: "One thing is for sure, you have to get out of here. The creatures in this place will try to destroy you. You are not safe, so leave while you still....."
Before he can finish, the mirror suddenly cracks. After that, the warning ends and the doors open. Guests then proceed past an area under construction, where more scaffolding has been put up. A builder will then put guests on one of three elevators. This uses the same ride system as the Tower of Terror in California, Paris, and Tokyo, so multiple elevators move at a time. Here, guests store their belongings under their seat and strap themselves in.
RIDE EXPERIENCE:
When the doors shut, the elevator begins to move up. In the meantime, a high-pitched male voice comes from overhead.
Leprechaun: "You lucky humans. Did you think that we were evil? No, we are not. Let me demonstrate this by giving you a gift."
The doors open on the fifth floor, revealing a room filled with gold. Standing in front of them is a short, red-haired man in an apron.
Leprechaun: "You can take this gold. It's yours. We mean you no harm."
Suddenly, the gold all turns into potatoes. In addition to this, the room turns red.
Leprechaun: "Just kidding! You are trespassers here, and you shall perish!"
The elevator moves up one floor, where a pair of fire-breathing ogres are. One of them jumps onto the elevator, making it shake. Also, a banshee comes forth, screaming as it goes into the elevator.
Banshee: "You are doomed, humans!"
Suddenly, the elevator drops. It rises up and drops several more times, showing great views of the outside, as well as the inside. As they go up and down, spooky projections appear on the walls. The sequence in which the drops occur is random. There is even a fake drop to scare the riders.
Then, at the end of the ride, they head to the top floor, where they see the whole park. At that point, the banshee taunts them.
Banshee: "Take a good look at this place. It's the last look you'll ever see! HAHAHA!"
Suddeny, the ogre above breathes fire on the cables, making them snap. The elevator drops, but before they can collapse, they slow down as they head back to the loading area.
O'Muck: "Don't worry. I'll keep them at bay while you get out of here, but remember, if a place is said to be cursed.....be careful, because it's probably true."
POST-RIDE:
After O'Muck saves the guests, they exits the elevator and go into the school's storage area, which has been converted into a gift shop known as Fortress O'Muck Gifts. Here, guests can buy merchandise and see pictures of them taken on the ride. Then, they go through a passage and end up back in London, making it look like the horror in Fortress O'Muck never happened.
